What midwifery services do you offer?

As a Florida Licensed Midwife, I am trained & qualified to provide prenatal, postpartum & birth care to low risk birthing families here in Florida. We will follow a similar visit schedule as most OB providers, with 8-13 prenatal & at least 4 postpartum visits, AND midwifery care in the community looks like at minimum hour long visits, in your home, based on your needs & desires. As a solo midwife I get to know my clients & their families & I’m on call for the birth from 37-42 weeks, as well as for triage of emergencies at any stage of pregnancy or postpartum.
I offer homebirth services that include waterbirth, & my foundational belief is that birth is a unique embodied experience, which is deserving of respect, kindness & thoughtful physiologic guidance. I believe that anyone giving birth is first & foremost the expert of their care, that babies are active participants & that trust & shared decision making with informed consent is key to safety, both physically & emotionally.
I offer a variety of comfort measures & carry many herbs, labor support tools (like a TENS unit), & the full complement of medical equipment & medications as allowed by Florida LM law. I have worked with everyone from unlicensed traditional midwives serving rural families in the Midwest, to APRN/CNMs offering homebirth for breech & twins here in Florida & I continue to grow my skills every year with continuing education & by working with other community midwives.
I offer standard prenatal care testing such as labs for bloodwork, urinalysis & fetal genetic testing. I can provide orders for ultrasounds & referrals for MFM or other higher level care if needed. I provide newborn metabolic screening, CCHD screening & referrals to audiology. I have community resources of all types for the central Florida region, including perinatal therapy, IBCLCs, pediatricians, & more.
As an LMT & birth worker with 2 decades traditional perinatal care experience, I offer bodywork, herbal support & other care alongside my contemporary midwifery skills. I enjoy working with clients who have their own traditional cultural knowledge & practices to feel supported in bringing this care into their pregnancy & birth. I’ve assisted clients from all over the world, including many parts of Asia, Africa, the Middle East, Central & South America, the Caribbean, Eastern/Western Europe & the Indigenous Americas.
If requested, I have midwifery colleagues who speak Spanish as medical interpreters available to join my birth team.

What pricing do you offer?

At this time, my practice is direct fee for service. I can accept cash, check, Zelle, Venmo/Cashapp, credit cards via Stripe, & HSA cards. In some instances I am available for barter of portions of care. Full contracts are available for review upon request.
$7500 for a comprehensive midwifery package for the remainder of 2026, which includes all prenatal & postpartum visits, basic labs, on call phone or text care for labor triage or emergencies & attendance at your birth with another qualified attendant, defined as another licensed midwife or other licensed experience birth assistant. As my gift to you, a full package of prenatal, birth & postpartum bodywork for you & your baby is included in care. I am trained & experienced in in abdomiopelvic/uterine, myofascial including for jaw & pelvic floor, craniosacral & newborn massage modalities. A $750 non-refundable retainer is required to secure your spot in my calendar at initiation of care.
$6000 comprehensive prenatal/postpartum care with midwife attending planned hospital birth. For clients with higher risk factors or who desire a hospital birth for pain management or planned birth (vaginal induction of labor or cesarean) I offer in home midwifery care & attendance at the birth as an experienced doula & birth advocate, & provide a bridge to the hospitalist OB or midwife through collaborative care relationships. This does include providing report & records to the hospital of your choosing. A $750 non-refundable retainer is required to secure your spot in my calendar at initiation of care.
$4500 comprehensive prenatal/postpartum care only. This package includes in-home care prenatally & in postpartum & all the perks of the packages above, without birth attendance. This may be ideal for someone who plans to have a doula, or does not need additional support for a planned cesarean birth. This does include providing report & records to the hospital of your choosing. $450 retainer covers the first visit & labs.
$300 preconception care visit. This visit can include abdominopelvic bodywork, fertility awareness resources, Pap if indicated, STI testing, basic health labs & discussion of conception goals. Community resources for IUI, reproductive endocrinology, medication management & more are available if needed.
$1000 additional travel fee for clients residing more than 1 hour from my East Orlando/Orange County base. Most Brevard, Osceola, Seminole clients fall within 1 hr, please ask if you are unsure.
If you have insurance & wish to use it, I work in collaboration with Sunshine Midwife’s Constance Tucker, LM, CPM, as an on-call homebirth midwife for her practice. www.sunshinemidwife.com Clients using this option would see both midwives in office in Altamonte Springs, & I am on-call for those clients planning a homebirth in her care. You can still consult with me here first, to see if we’re a good fit for one another.
Occasionally, I offer a per visit fee schedule for clients moving into or out of the area & a sliding scale option for clients who meet criteria for resources such as food assistance. Please contact me directly for more information about these services & your specific needs.

The short answer - ABSOLUTELY!
Sometimes you don’t know your options or preferences until later on in pregnancy. Keep in mind, I do request confirmation that you have received prenatal care if you are choosing a community birth later on in pregnancy & we’ll have a detailed conversation about your risk factors & prior experiences. If my practice is full during your due time, I’ll be happy to refer you to other qualified midwives in our community.
